7.8 Netscape SCRIPT Element (Netscape 2.0 only)

Netscape Navigator 2.0 supports a SCRIPT element in the document HEAD. This can contain a executable script, written in Javascript. Javascript script programs can add interaction and dynamic functionality to your web pages -- but be careful to not get carried away. Remember that most users still do not have access to versions of Netscape that support Javascript, so they will not be able to use these scripts.

NOTE
Javascript now functions on all current versions of the Netscape 2.0 browser, on app platforms (Mac, PC-Windows and UNIX).
